ASMOFQ
ASMOFQ is the Australian Salaried Medical Officers’ Federation Queensland (ASMOFQ).
We are a not-for-profit membership organisation that exists to improve the working lives of our members - salaried medical officers.
By joining together as a Union, doctors have a powerful voice and can exert positive influence on important workplace matters that could never be achieved alone. Great outcomes are achieved by working collectively towards common goals.
The role of ASMOFQ is to protect and improve the working conditions of its members. ASMOFQ also ensures that its members are treated fairly and with respect at work. ASMOFQ can only keep maintaining and improving workplace rights, pay and conditions when people in the workplace choose to become members - the more members we have, the stronger we become.
ASMOFQ is run by doctors, only for doctors. We do not have any competing interests or conflicts as with other organisations.
ASMOFQ is part of a much larger unified federation of doctors' industrial organisations, providing the Queensland medical fraternity with a strong voice in the national medico-political setting. Salaried medical officers can be assured of strength in industrial and professional unity across Australia.
